So, it took me a while to realize how close Miss Teen USA 2008 is - it's a damn shame that it won't be on TV. However, just over a month after Dayana Mendoza was welcomed into the Miss Universe Organization, Hilary Cruz must say goodbye. Hilary of course was overshadowed by her competitor, Caitlin Upton (Miss South Carolina Teen USA 2007) last year, but Hilary has had a pretty scot-free year. So as 51 teen beauties prepare to strut their stuff in the Bahamas (in a venue more suited for the adult counterpart, Miss USA, or Miss Universe even, not Miss Teen USa), I've compiled a list of the girls that caught my eye on the official Miss Teen USA website. While obivously it's all up to the Presentation Show, the following girls have a headstart towards August 16, in alphabetical order: Arkansas (Stevi Lauren Perry), Colorado (Danielle Rose Scimeca), Florida (Jillian Leigh Wunderlich), Idaho (Shareece Laree Pfeiffer), Louisiana (Lindsey Evans), Massachusetts (Caroline Lunny), Mississippi (Elizabeth Hollomon), New York (Sana Idnani), Ohio (Chelsie Folden), Oklahoma (Taylor Gorton), Pennsylvania (Elliot Griffin), Rhode Island (Tiondra Martinez), South Carolina (Brittany Pjetraj), Texas (Lauren Nicole Guzman), Vermont (Sydney Marie Perry), Virginia (Megan Leigh Myrehn) and Wisconsin (Courtney Lopez).
